ROYAL FLYING DOCTOR SERVICE (RFDS) VISITOR CENTRE AND CAFE

Open: Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm. Last tour 4pm. Sunday & Public Holidays 1pm to 5pm

Winner of the 2005 Brolga Award for Tourism Excellence. The Centre incorporates a museum, one of the oldest functioning RFDS communication bases to be found, souvenir shop and café.
Tours every half hour.

  • Visit a working base in operation since 1939 and learn more about this unique service.
  • Contemporary and historic medical service in Outback Australia.
  • View an informative video and observe the coordination of real time medical evacuations
